Tonight’s theme was Inspirational songs for Idol Gives Back week. My favorite of the night was Jason Castro, who sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” ala the great Hawaiian singer, Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole. IZ’s version of the song is beautiful and Jason did a great job with it. Fantastic.
